INSTALLING VISUAL STUDIO 2005 STANDARD EDITION 1

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. In this step-by-step tutorial we will install Visual Studio 2005 on Windows XP Pro SP2 with 1 GB memory. First of all make sure your machine fulfill the recommended requirements to install Visual Studio 2005 Standard Edition. In this case some of the required components such as .NET Framework 2.0 already installed. Any pre-requirement components will be detected by the installation and appropriate message will be displayed if the requirements are not met. For faster and uninterrupted installation, you may want to copy the whole DVD content to the local drive and run it locally. If the Autorun of the DVD is not executed, double click the setup.exe file in the VS folder and the following Windows form will be launched.
